Car Crashes Into LAX Terminal, 7-year-old Girl Injured

Three were injured, including a 7-year-old girl, Sunday night due to a car crashing into LAX Terminal 7. A 2015 Porsche Panamera struck the girl, and continued to collide into the stucco wall of a utility room at the terminal, a hub of United Airlines.
 
The 67-year-old driver and the passenger, were transferred to the hospital after the crash, but were listed in good condition. The 7-year-old girl, the daughter of an airline employee, was listed in critical condition. “It’s safe to say she’s fighting for her life,” fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.The cause of the crash is not reported yet. The driver has not spoken out about the crash yet.

Investigators report there is no alcohol related cause.

“All indications [are] saying that he probably mistook the gas pedal for the brake in the vehicle when he was dropping off a passenger here at Terminal 7, United Airlines,” LAPD Sgt. Roy Ceja said. There is no damage that may have caused delay in air traffic operations.
