On Wednesday, July 29, at around 8 p.m., two people lost their lives to a collision in Baldwin Park. Footage from the scene shows a black car wrapped around a tree on the center divider of Baldwin Park Boulevard near La Rica Avenue. According to CBS LA, a crash with another vehicle sent the car into the median. Police at the scene told KTLA that both the car’s passengers were deceased.
The Los Angeles Country Fire Department was the first to arrive on the scene, and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Both victims were male and in their late teens/ early 20’s. The driver of the second vehicle was not hurt.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
