At around 2:30 a.m. on June 14, 2020, a motorist crashed into a tree in Inglewood. Paramedics rushed the driver to the hospital, but the passenger did not survive. According to MyNewsLA.com, it was unclear if the unidentified man died at the scene or at a hospital nearby.
The single-vehicle accident took place at Manchester and 11th avenues. The motorist who caused the crash is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and was arrested as a result of the accident.
In a statement, the police revealed:
“At this time, the collision remains an active investigation.”
